Ibiza is famous for parties ánd for the hippie markets. Even if you don’t need any bohemian items, it’s still a great vibe to check out. And don’t worry if you can visit a hippie market during your holiday, they all open on different days!

Hippie markets on Ibiza in 2025
Even though the name ‘hippie market’ suggests that there are only hippies on these markets, that’s not the case! On one hand you’ll see a lot of different people who come to visit the popular hippie markets and I think that’s great.
On the other hand you’ll see sellers who are hippies, but – sadly – definitely not all anymore. Many stands are not about local or handmade products by now. Which market you’ll like most is always a personal question anyway!
Las Dalias hippie market Ibiza
One of the two most famous hippie markets on Ibiza, that is open most of the year, is Las Dalias. This market goes back to 1954 and is located in San Carlos (parking right next to it: €4 for a car, €2 for a scooter).
Las Dalias is usually open on Saturday (10:00-18:00) & Sunday (11:00-18:00).
However the times change during the low and the high season. For example in January the market was closed and in high season the market will be open longer. And there will even be a night market from June to September!
On this market there are many stands, you can have a drink and paella, and there’s usually music (this market is famous for ‘Namaste’ parties). When the market closes, you can go into the little club named ‘Akasha’.

Punta Arabi hippie market Ibiza
The other big famous hippie market in Ibiza is Punta Arabi in Es Canar. This one is supposed to be the largest and oldest one, taking place on a holiday park with cute houses. You can only visit this one on Wednesdays.
In 2025 the market opens on the 7th of May, due to renovations. The opening hours will be 10:00-18:00 and you can park on the paid parking field nearby.
With around 500 stalls and over a 1000 people coming every Wednesday it could be wise to come early, especially in summer when it gets really hot!

Sant Joan hippie market Ibiza
Then there’s a weekly market, throughout the whole year, that’s not necessarily a hippie market, but it definitely looks like it. It’s open every Sunday in the little town Sant Joan (from 10:00 to 15:00).
You can not miss this market when you drive there. Parking is free just at the end of the little center (behind the church), but limited. Besides stalls there’s live music and a lovely Boho Ibiza vibe.

Other smaller hippie markets on Ibiza
If you don’t like crowded places or can’t make it to the famous markets, there’s also little hippie markets in other places on the island:
- Playa d’en Bossa: opening in May, every evening from 18:00-00:00
https://maps.app.goo.gl/AjFXouuQp6EFozzR6 - Figueretas: opening in May, every evening from 19:00 on the promenade
https://maps.app.goo.gl/txHiRwi9oeCZKuXQ7 - San Antonio: every evening in high season (near the fountain in the port)
https://maps.app.goo.gl/18GhuhBWHbxNbdD66 - Benirras: Tuesdays, Fridays & Sundays in high season starting at 12:00
https://maps.app.goo.gl/fy2jxFwWuub4JAbG6 - Santa Eulalia: everyday in high season from 10:00-14:00
https://maps.app.goo.gl/7dBERnDEMnubPmt36 - Ibiza town: every night from 18:00 in high season, in the harbour

As you can see there are multiple options on different days and locations! If you come to Ibiza for the first time, it’s definitely nice to visit one of the hippie markets. But there’s no need to see them all, as they look quite similar.
If you come again, you can always visit another one to see the vibe!
